The Souper Bowl offering was collected on February 3rd, the day of the Super Bowl game. We gave $45 in cash and forty food items, for the Terrace View Food Bank in Mountlake Terrace.
Our next mission emphasis will be on the One Great Hour of Sharing offering which will be given on Palm Sunday. Presbyterian Disaster Assistance will receive 32% of the offering, Presbyterian Hunger Program will get 36%, and Self Development of People will receive 32%.
Our quarterly mission giving was distributed in January. Eagle Wings, Opening Blind Eyes, Jan Griffith and Renewal Ministries each received $400. The Puget Sound Christian Clinic was given $300 and The Jean Kim Foundation received $200. Gifts of $100 were given to the Everett Gospel Mission, Cancer Pathways, Habitat for Humanity and Tyler Holm, our mission partner in Malawi.
