The Women’s Association will meet on October 11th at 11:30AM. Lunch will be served around noon. The chaplain from Swedish Hospital will speak after lunch. Our September speaker, Kim Gorney from Washington Kids in Transition told us about problems of homeless children in the Edmonds School District. Over 600 children in the district are homeless. One way to help is to take granola bars, cracker and cheese packs, or fruit snacks such as squeezable apple sauce to the Edmonds Methodist Church where they will be packed for after school snacks for homeless children.
